This is where the cheap hair extensions is in strips with clips sewn onto them so you can attach them easily yourself. This is a great method that is the least abrasive and is greatly used for adding highlights without having to make any commitment.

The Internet has a huge assortment of information including buying extensions, different applying methods, local beauticians, DIY, and how to articles and videos.

Hair extensions have been extremely popular in the world of fashion for some time. The idea used to be looked at as odd or just not accepted if you found out someone you knew wore them in everyday life. Now they have gotten so popular they are and are open to the general market, any women can use them to get "that look" that they have always dreamed of. Or, these are even used as a mere fashion accessory. There are many reasons of putting hair extensions in like thickening up fine or thinning hair, making hair go from short to long, and adding them as highlights so you don't have to bleach or put other chemicals on your head. There are a bunch of different methods as how to go about putting them in. Women who have fine thinning hair should look for the least non abrasive way to having hair extensions attached as some methods could result in damage to your own hair. Here are some of the most popular methods.

Hair extensions have not only been useful in the fashion industries but have helped many people including cancer survivors while waiting for their own hair to grow out. With the acceptance of society, these great miracle strands that seem almost like gold to a good majority of woman is likely to only boost self esteem and not to mention a good hair do.

This is similar to the strand by strand method and will take about the same time to get it done. The difference is that your hair is attached with little links and crimped shut instead of bonding glue. To maintenance them all that needs to be done is to un crimp the link, and the hair will come free. You can actually reuse the hair which is really easy to just move it up and then re crimp back into place.

Regular Bond Glue: The method of putting this in is pretty easy. Your hair is in a weft (hair that is attached/sewn together in a row.) and then measured and cut to the pieces you need. Then your hair is parted and the rows are glued in.

Bonding Tape: This is a relatively new form of attaching long curly hair extensions. Long wearing double sided bonding wig tape like SuperTape is attached to the pre cut strips of hair. Then the other side is attached to your parted hair. This can last anywhere from 1-6 weeks depending on the type of tape that is purchased and the brand.
